SpeedMoto is an endless runner game that sees the player riding a motorcycle for as long as they can without falling. This Android game is relatively basic in terms of its graphics and controls, but that simplicity is what helps the game stay addictive and engaging.

This sort of distance game is common in the racing format, especially for older games for the first consoles or PC. In this version, the player controls a motorcycle rider, and the motorcycle itself automatically accelerates. Players can make the bike go faster if they wish, and they do so by using either the touchscreen or tilt-based controls that use the internal accelerometer.

The game is essentially a first-person driving simulator, and the player will have to drive down a roadway while collecting coins that are scattered across both lanes. They will also have to avoid other vehicles on the road. Those vehicles are moving much slower than the motorcycle, so they are more like obstacles than anything else. Tilting the device side to side controls the turning of the bike to help avoid other vehicles, and pressing the screen will accelerate the bike faster than it does by default.

In order to get higher scores, the player must unlock extra bikes. Those bikes can be unlocked by using the coins that are collected during each level, and they can also be purchased with real-world currency via in-app purchases, which is fairly standard for modern mobile games.

The graphics of this game are a bit subpar, and they appear fairly blocky with little fluidity to the motion. Some might consider this a bad thing, but the prevalence of blocky games is starting to grow as older players remember what it was like to play older 8-bit games. While the graphics in this game could be much better, they serve the purpose of the objective quite well, and they keep the game file from being too large and from using too many system resources. It's hard to tell whether the game was left relatively unpolished on purpose, but the lack of extra details could be seen as a positive thing to many players.

Since there is no online portion of this game, the main objective is to beat your own high score. While this might seem like a boring objective, it quickly becomes addictive. The simplistic nature of the graphics makes it easy to get caught up in the game, and it often feels as if the game should be easier than it is because of the limited graphics.

Another area that the game could improve is the sound effects. The effects are quite primitive, and it sounds as if they were created with an old synthesizer. The progression of the game also makes it so players can start to learn which vehicles are going to perform which actions, so it becomes more about learning a pattern than relying on reflexes and driving ability.
